Tasty Delicious has great patties and bread, and whenever I'm in Brooklyn, I always make a stop to grab a chicken or beef patty, sometimes both! The flavors are on point, and it's one of the very few places in NY that I can undoubtedly recommend for authentic Jamaican baked goods. The only downside is the long lines, because they don't move as efficiently as they should, considering how many customers they have. But as soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the amazing scent of freshly baked bread and other pastries, it truly smells like a Jamaican bakery back home. Their cakes always look soft and moist, and the overall atmosphere feels authentic. They also make cocktail patties, which I love. I once ordered 100 of them (half chicken, half beef) for my father's birthday celebration, and of course they were a hit.

Tasty patties, many options. The line moves fast, and the patties are hot and flaky. It took all our control to not rip into the bag before we exited the store. The currant roll was just sweet enough and so fresh that we should have bought more. We'll be back again and again. They have cake too, but we'll get some on the next trip.

This review is well overdue. This establishment is my go to party spot. From the beef patty to the chicken patty to their infamous salmon patty and one of my favorites their meatloaf. All patties are TOP NOTCH. The pictures in this review is of their delicious MEATLOAF. Please not to confuse this with the American dish meatloaf. This here is a beef filled coco bread. It consists of more dough. The dough is soft and a tad bit sweet just like coco bread. The meat is seasoned well with just the right amount of pepper. Love my girls who work the morning into day shift they are the best . The meatloaf is $3.25. 1 of them and a drink and you have your lunch (very filling). Anytime your in Brooklyn you MUST come here they never disappoint.

1. There is always a line so be prepared to wait 2. They have the best beef Jamaican beef patties in Brooklyn. I'm Guyanese and our patties lash too but it's made differently. 3. The coco bread is a little too salty for me.

So, as a patty connoisseur, I have to add my 2 cents. In NYC, its pretty hard to find a place to get a patty that makes me imagine that I am on the island of Jamaica. A patty is supposed to: 1. have between an orange/yellow color 2. the patty should be slender and not look obese. 3. The filling should be well seasoned 4. The filling should be piping hot where your mouth makes a slight hissing sound when eating. (Hence, you should slightly blow on it before eating). 5. The crust should be flaky and not cakey in texture. If, any of the 5 are missing you don't have a good patty. On a rating out of 5, just speaking about the patty. This patty will be rated a 4. The color and filling can be altered a bit. However, overall, it is one of the best patty places in Brooklyn. They serve beef, chicken, salmon and I believe veggie. There are also plenty of pastries to choose from the menu. There is always a line so prepare to wait a while. Sunday's are their day of rest so get your goodies Monday-Saturday.
